We have solar farm activity in our county but do not have a permitting process. I've not seen that counties have been expressly given any authority to regulate solar farms. Recent legislations didn't pass the House which would have given some guidance. AG Opinion AC-0003 is helpful. Does any county out there have any permitting rules for solar farms and on what authority were the rules passed by the Commissioner's Court?
