I'll post this here because it seems like the most logical place for it to go. A couple of years ago I was asked to take over writing the Community Plan that goes to the Criminal Justice Division for our county. The job fell to me because I had previous grant writing experience and our office was looking into a VAWA grant. The whole Community Planning function has taken on a life of its own since then and I spend almost as much time on the Community Plan as I do my day job. I'm curious to see if any other DA Offices are responsible for Community Planning for their counties and see how it is handled in other places. Please feel free to discuss.
