Does anyone have any experience with an expert that will testify as to the effects of certain drugs in a person's system? I'm informed that the DPS toxicologists will testify about the substances in the blood, but not the physical effects of those substances. Any advice is much appreciated.

I was hoping someone else would step up. I was reluctant to reply for two reasons: I don't want to "advertise" on this forum; that is not its purpose. Secondly, since I have a consulting practice and a "day job", I prefer civil cases which tend to have less of a court burden than do criminal trials. That being said, as a forensic toxicologist, I do not discriminate for whom I will testify or opine; I just tell the truth as I see it. I am happy to help either side of the aisle sort things out. As for testimony, we will have to see how my schedule looks.
