We are novices at certifying juveniles and I suddenly have two. It is not clear to me exactly what a "diagnostic study" consists of; psycological or psychiatric exam or more? I would appreciate any input. Confused

I've seen counties do it both ways. Some use a psychologist some a psychiatrist.

Give me a call, I can hook you up with all the paperwork and info you need.

Ours has included not only a psychiatric and psychological, but also a medicial eval and, in an appropriate case, a neurological and a family evaluation. The judge can order what he believes is appropriate.
