Local lawyer James Myart, known for his flamboyant public criticism of law enforcement and a raft of personal legal troubles, pleaded guilty Thursday to stealing money from a client who happened to be the reputed founder of the Texas Mexican Mafia.
Perhaps he had not seen the rampant spam and other advertisments promising the gift of enlargement, or perhaps he could not afford anything but the car wash alternative. Try that for a defense!

It would suck to prosecute that case. You'd have to be careful not to make sweeping generalizations about the defendant. Granted the defendant might be cleaner than your average sexual offense perp, it still would be difficult not to blow through twenty or so bad puns in opening statement. How could the jury take you seriously? Do you think you could call him the dirt devil bandit?
