Adam Wright, who forced himself on the 12-year-old in November 2002, insisted he’s a changed man who's found God behind bars and wants to 'instill some good morals and values' in his kids.
'Let go, learn to let go,' Wright said calmly as he looked directly at his victim, who fought back tears.
'Don't hold on to any pain, don't hold on to it. Give it to the Lord and he'll take care of it for you."

A 4th grade teacher in Houston started a class project to be pen pals with a convicted child molester. The teacher was a family friend of Ricky Rowlett (convicted of repeatedly sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 14 over a three-year period) and believed he was wrongly convicted. Students were encouraged to provide information such as their ages and appearance and express a willingness to meet with Rowlett after he was released.
There are no phones on death row; neither are there any in general population or in Ad Seg. There are no drugs in prison. There are no assaults, sex with guards, murders, escapes...there are only investigators making it all up.

Drunken Grandparents Use SUV to Tow Girl in Toy Car
Two drunken grandparents were arrested for using their vehicle to pull their 7-year-old granddaughter in a toy car, the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office said.
Belinda and Paul Berloni were arrested on Sunday after a deputy in a marked patrol car saw the SUV pulling a "small plastic hot wheels car" along an access road, authorities said.

When I was pregnant with my first child, I decided to breastfeed. So I went to a meeting for women who wanted to breastfeed rather than giving formula. Imagine my shock when the leader's three year old son came up, climbed into her lab, and demanded to be fed. She nonchalantly opened her blouse and nursed him! I don't think it's as unusual in the US as one might think, and I'm sure it is fairly common in undeveloped nations where it acts like a form of birth control.

Miami police and witnesses say that an officer on Saturday fatally shot a naked man who was chewing on the face of another man on a downtown causeway off-ramp. The Miami Herald reports that gunshots were heard at about 2 p.m. on the MacArthur Causeway off-ramp, which is near the newspaper's offices. Witnesses said that a woman saw two men fighting and flagged down a police officer, who came upon a naked man mauling the other man. The newspaper quoted witnesses as saying that the officer ordered the naked man to back away, and when he ignored the demand, the officer shot him. Witnesses said that the naked man continued his attack after being shot once, and the officer then shot him several more times. Police said the other man was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital Ryder Trauma Center, reportedly for treatment of critical injuries.
